A Little About Me
Hi. I am Abi, I was looking for a healthier lifestyle and that’s when I came across yoga, and let’s just say it has changed my life and I’m here to tell you how and where you can find the same information. If you are on this page, there is a reason for it, as I do not believe in coincidences. I hope you read along to find out more and make your life better for you, your family, and your friends. I didn’t start the day, I saw it as I am a researcher and love to dig deep. However, I love shopping, so I treated myself to buying a yoga mat online. When it was delivered, I put it in my closet and didn’t think about it until a few months later So here is my story.!
I returned to this site. I read testimonials and realized … this is for me. It checked off so many goals that you will learn about below. This changed my life. I am a mother of three and I struggle daily. I have mental health issues from borderline personality
disorder to anxiety and a few things in between. The worst part is I can’t leave my house thanks to agoraphobia and COVID …that has made it completely impossible for me to “get out there and try new things”. Who wants to do that when they don’t even like to drive? I know I started this review off deep, but I am here to make a point. I have needs for my physical health that were not being met due to the health issues I have, this, in turn, makes life incredibly hard. But I didn’t realize just how hard my life could be. I finally started to see a psychiatrist in 2018, he told me, “Healing is not linear.” He also told me, “You are smart, and you will make it through this.” That doctor gave me hope that I hadn’t had in a long time. He gave me great ideas and things to try, one being yoga and the other mindfulness. I can do this now. When the mindset stuck, I couldn’t give up.

My Way to Rock Bottom
I was diagnosed with health issues at the age of seven and I am now in my thirties I have never gone to an inpatient mental health ward until a year ago. Now, I know I should’ve gone long before that, but that is beside the point. Sometimes you must hit rock bottom just to know how high you can climb and reflect within yourself that you are indeed strong. That you are capable of anything you set your mind to. Going into the hospital was terrifying! Little did I know I was in the process of meeting people who have helped change my life. However, at first, I didn’t know what to think or how to act. I didn’t know if people wanted to talk, it was the first time outside my house in a while. The drive there had me wanting to puke. The conversation with my husband and doctor (as I had an appointment the same day and they admitted me) was the hardest thing I could do. I had given him a warning; this may happen if I am honest, so, it wasn’t a shocker to him and thankfully he is supportive. Being in the hospital made me realize a lot. I realized you have to take care of yourself before anyone else. You can’t pour from an empty cup. However, I tell you this story as a testimonial to The Yoga Burn and how much it helped me. If I wouldn’t have gone into the hospital, I wouldn’t have met my friend, Joey who introduced me
to yoga (the right way). I did some reflection while inpatient and wrote out my goals for when I came home. I wrote down to be healthier, mentally, and toned physically is number one on my list. I also suffer from an eating disorder, an aversion to food
which has caused me to lose so much weight that if I don’t tone now, it will eventually be too late.
Freedom, It’s Truly the Little Things
When I was in the hospital we got to go outside, supervised or not we were able to get fresh air and it was worth it. Every time I went outside, I thought to myself I wish someone knew yoga! Little did I know along came Joey! The first day he was there it was beautiful outside, none of us talked we all knew why we were there. But Joey started doing yoga in our little outside area, I asked, “Can I join?” Which, he let me and that is when I knew I wanted to pursue yoga when I got home… He taught me about the benefits of yoga and it piqued my interest even more. I bought books on yoga, and I bought with the help of my husband The Yoga Burn! As I said I had lost
weight I didn’t need to and started resenting my body. I have daughters and didn’t want them to see an unhealthy mother and I was starting to look that way. Nothing fits me and being unemployed I would rather wear my comfy clothes. I started to be disappointed as I believe you can tell a child many great words of wisdom and they will end up acting not by what they hear but by the actions and choices they see in their parents. If you want your child to be healthy I knew I had to start doing so as well. It truly starts with you! And I realized I needed something to tone my body, something to help clear my mind if at all possible, to help all that ails me and be the
best version of me I can be. My why, is because my little ones are watching.
What is Your Why? Your Now is Not Your Forever
So off to Google, I go! I didn’t and couldn’t have any yoga classes in-studio; I needed something from home. I wanted to help my mental and physical health. I wanted something to focus on while I got my life straightened out. I was drowning in debt, had no job, and felt so overwhelmed. I started doing a deep google dive and realized yoga helps with both of those things. It also helps with reducing pain, improving sleep, anxiety, depression, and many more benefits. So it’s a win-win, right? Luckily, I have an amazing and supportive spouse and I had a plan. I am known in my family for when Abby gets determined, whatever goal I set forth I accomplish. So, I ran up to
my husband and said read this! Of course, I had The Yoga Burn website pulled up, I asked my husband if he would buy it for me as they were having another good deal and he did. I couldn’t wait for the mail to come! I was tracking and looking out the window much like this.
Why Not Right Now To Change Your Forever?
If you know something needs to change and you are on this page, take it as a sign. It’s your life. Take control, take hold, and find happiness within. Yoga helps with a multitude of health issues, so, why not now? Why not start your forever and start it by doing The Yoga Burn Challenge!
The Yoga Burn Benefits
For thousands of years, yoga has been practiced for well-being on all levels. Yoga helps with: physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual being. The benefits are something I never believed when people told me about yoga. It wasn’t until I got this that I am glad they don’t tell me, “I told you so”. Yoga releases GABA levels in your brain that are said to be linked to helping anxiety and depression. I can tell the difference in my day when I don’t do yoga in the morning or the night before. My flexibility is back as I was a gymnast, and my daughter wants to start that soon. Getting The Yoga Burn was a life-changing experience for me. It brought me and my
daughters even closer. It has helped me so much I no longer take Tylenol every day. My entire body feels stronger, and my mind feels sharper. I love to do this outside and watch on my laptop. Even typing this review about it has me feeling relieved. I hope this helps someone take the step to a better healthier life. No matter your yoga level, you will obtain a lot of information from these videos.
Designed by the one and only Zoe Bray Cotton, a certified Yoga Instruction, you will obtain knowledge from beginner to flawless. This is perfect for those who need at home one-on-one yoga. You can pause and take a break without worrying about anyone else’s opinion and you won’t have to miss anything. Do this on your own time, wake up before your family, or after you have put them in bed; there is no wrong
time, only the right time, and that time is right now. It is 15 mins and 3 times a week I felt that was doable for me. However, if not you get to be in control of your training! No schedule, no missing classes, and who doesn’t love that? I finally was able to use the yoga mats I bought years ago, I have two so even my daughters will do yoga with me, and they are 5 and 11 we started at the beginner level and now they ask me to do it. Having someone hold you accountable when it comes to any habit you are trying to form helps. (especially since they are my WHY). Not only am I writing this to tell the world about this challenge I tell everyone I know. I also noticed my balance is better. To put the cherry on the cake Zoe is a great instructor and easy to follow. The videos are fun yet relaxing, I can’t stress enough about the health benefits. I heard it takes 60 days to build a habit it took me two weeks. I started being excited for the morning alone yoga time. I was worried it wouldn’t be for beginners such as I am but this covers all the bases plus some. You will not be disappointed with your purchase.
Feel the Yoga Burn
They break it down into three phases based on different levels of intensity. They are created to be four weeks per level. However, it is on your time! The first level is Foundational Flow to help build your experience by laying a good foundation. Who wants to build a house with cracked concrete? Even if you know all about yoga, this is a very good way to brush up and continue your education. Also, it feels good to do, physically and mentally. The second level is called The Transitional Flow; this is where you learn how to put the knowledge together and transition smoothly into the next pose. This also gets you prepared for level three The Mastery Flow. When I first started,
I will admit there were challenges, but when you overcome them and see the results in the mirror, and feel the weight of the world tarting to lift from your shoulders, you will be so proud of yourself, and rightfully so! I am able to do yoga without the disks now, but I enjoy having a schedule. I know in today’s world everything is changing, but don’t let it change you. Make time for yourself so you can be the best YOU, you can be. Yoga not only helped me tone my body, but it has also been a benefactor in my mental health incline. I feel good and getting my daughters involved is a great bonding experience You may feel sore at first. I did as well I didn’t realize how many muscles I wasn’t using. Now I am seeing definition and maintaining my weight. When you do yoga, you get a full-body workout, which means no weights, and my favorite is that it is in the comfort of my own home. I enjoyed each level and at 15 minutes per
workout, it worked with my schedule. Now I wake up each morning and have coffee, and sometimes I’m “good” and have green tea instead. Then go to my living room and put the disk in, layout the yoga mat I found during a closet cleaning, and start my Yoga Burn. I have been trying my whole life to make a morning routine that didn’t involve me giving a death stare to anyone that walked my way. Now not only am I being a morning person, but I am also calmer. I sleep better, I get bonding yoga time with my children, and my joints and muscles no longer hurt. I am eating again, toning my body, and continue to keep it up. I know there’s no youth fountain, but starting a good regimen even at 30 will make a huge difference. You will begin feeling the difference quickly. It is okay to take a break, just remember to get back on the horse and ride, so as to speak. When I first started it was hard to get in a groove. I decided to make a reminder on my phone with the time I wanted to start it and check it off my to-do list first thing. I will admit, some days I didn’t want to do it and some days I didn’t. But like I said, it is on your schedule. I do suggest if you like to bullet journal, track your daily activity and then track your mood. It is amazing how starting yoga first thing in the morning makes the day more positive.
Are you ready to take the first step towards a healthy lifestyle? What is holding you back?
Let me ask you this: do you have trouble sleeping, inflammation, depression, anxiety, want to shed a few pounds, or just tone your body? If you answered yes to even one of them this is for you! Write out your goals even short-term only and keep that list somewhere you always see. I put mine on my mirror and executed my short-term goals The Yoga Burn was one of the first checked off. Make a plan and schedule if that helps or wing it, the choice is yours and yours alone! Yoga helps you be in tune with your body and that alone can help many situations. This is a great program to have, I never tire of it! Thank you for taking the time to read my testimonial.
