Sudden Attack of Hunger Before Bed – Rita Khomenko Advices
Have you ever found yourself wanting to eat very much in the evening, especially before going to bed? I personally observe this when I don’t eat well during the day. Especially if I don’t eat enough protein and fats. A poor breakfast, a modest lunch. Then in the evening the desire to empty the fridge 👿👿. To avoid it, you need to eat well throughout the day and not ignore breakfast and lunch. If this happens to you as a rare episode, it’s no big deal, we’re all human and there are different moments. But if you have it every night, you need to look for the cause. More often than not, as I said, it’s not a balanced diet in terms of the PFC (proteins fats carbohydrates). Especially if practice different diets and low calories, 1200 or less. At the very least our body, just for basic functions spends at least 1200. It happens, people have a stereotype in their head that you can’t eat after 6:00 PM. This is not true. You can eat 3-4 hours before going to bed. For example, if you go to bed at 12:00 or 1:00 am, dinner before 6:00 pm is not your option.
What to do if you have a sudden attack of hunger, and you’re on a diet?
To be honest, dairy at bedtime, especially cottage cheese is not the best option. Not for everyone. Consider the next options:
- ✔️ It is better to eat something protein, vegetables. For example, a piece of chicken, white meat, fish. It can be seafood, white egg, a piece of cheese. Vegetables.
- ✔️ As an option to dilute protein
- ✔️ Drink hot tea.
- ✔️ Such as kefir with cinnamon and bran
- ✔️ A relaxing bath with aroma oils
- ✔️ In a pinch, ignore hunger and run to bed 🤣
Reconsider your breakfast. If all you have is coffee or tea, with a candy bar or cookie, clearly you need to reconsider that option. Also look at what you are eating for dinner, a plate of leaves and a small piece of protein is not enough. The portion should be normal. If you’re not full, add small amounts of fats and some carbs. And in general to fall asleep not with a full stomach, but a slight feeling of hunger. The stomach should rest at night, not digest heavy food. Because overeating at night is fraught with the fact that you will wake up with sweats, broken, with no strength and energy, because your body has been working hard during the night.
